Personal use
SocialMediaDL is a utility for saving public videos that you have the right to download — for example your own posts, content published with an explicit download permission, or material in the public domain. You agree not to use the service to infringe copyright, violate platform terms, or access private accounts.
No circumvention
SocialMediaDL does not bypass DRM, paid paywalls, or authentication. If a platform requires a login or license, this tool will not unlock it for you.
Availability
Extractors depend on public pages and APIs that platforms can change without notice. The service is provided as-is, without a guarantee that any given URL will work.
Limitation of liability
You are solely responsible for how you use downloaded files. We are not liable for takedowns, account bans, or claims arising from content you choose to save.
